Audio quality is tied to your account, when you log into spotify servers – and select a song, the files are downloaded in usually around 3 different parts – depending on how long you’ve listened to the song – ie you don’t download the full in 1 go as 1 file. Each part of the song is encrypted and the decryption key is tied to your account/timestamp. Songs stored on the servers are encoded in different bitrates – so when you log into the server with a free account – you can only download at the max bitrate for your account (so about 128kbps) usually. If you have a premium account – this apk will download the exteme bitrate if you have that selected in your settings. I won’t go into it anymore than that – so if you want extreme audio and have a sound system where you will notice the difference, then you need a premium account,just make up a free 7 day account for that. You can spoof the mac on your device and use a fake email for that if you already had an account in the past.
